The site, situated along Leningradsky Prospect in suburban Moscow, midway between the Kremlin and the turn to Sheremetyevo Airport, was one of the last major open parcels situated along the Moscow River. The client, Center CDC, engaged Ellerbe Becket to provide master planning services for this mixed-use project, including office, hotel, housing and a conference/exhibition center.
The plan, totaling approximately 1.0 million sq. ft., placed the hotel along Leningradsky with the office building at right angles along the perimeter street. Exhibit space, located adjacent to the hotel, is accessible from the south and the apartment block, at the rear of the site, overlooks the river. Below-grade parking is provided beneath the entire site.
