Michael Jones was lead designer on the renovation and expansion of the Eaglewood Resort. The project focused on expanding and re-positioning the property to meet a more demanding conference consumer and was ideally located to serve the needs of the greater Chicago area. Overlooking the nine-hole golf course co-located on the property, the project called for the demolition and reconstruction of the restaurant/conference center facilities with the addition of a new curvilinear two-story guest room link connecting the existing guest towers to the conference center.

Guest room count increased from 200 to 295, with one additional restaurant, a pub, fitness center with indoor pool and bowling center, existing golf course with new pro shop and a 37,000 sq. ft. conference center. On the 2nd floor, the conference rooms ring a roof terrace and breakout space overlooking the golf course, while on the ground floor, a function terrace creates space for weddings and other large groups.
