Cafeteria Renovation

Royal Embassy of the Netherlands

Washington, DC

The project included the re-design of the kitchen, serving line and coffee bar area, and included architectural finishes, food service equipment and HVAC, electrical and plumbing work.  Additional work associated with mechanical and electrical systems required the renovation of areas including within the existing mechanical space as well as outside the building.  The project was delivered on a negotiated basis based upon conventional bid documents and work was expedited to conform to the Embassy's occupancy requirements, as well as to meet constraints imposed by the project funding cycle.

The scope of work included new partitions, interior finishes, new food service area and equipment, custom designed millwork and selected custom designed equipment items.
